The most bizarre WW II art ever
produced must be the drawings that used to grace the
covers of the countless american Pulp magazines in
the fifties, sixties and seventies. They may well be
offensive to some people but they are still part of
western cultural history, and therefore it is only
fair that they can also be on display. Thousands were
produced and many covers were exported to other
countries around the world for different types of
magazines. The volume of titles suggest that the
scene was popular and that many publishers wanted a
piece of the cake. The first gallery will feature
covers in slightly larger format, the following will
be the standard size that we normaly use in our
galleries. So, lets see why they used to call these
magazines "sleaze" and "sweat" in
old days...
